Antelope Canyon

Lower Antelope Canyon is our chance to go underground for a change. We are mesmerized by the colors and formations, as we weave our way through this slot canyon.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park is much smaller, and sits at a much higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park. Inspite of its name, Bryce Canyon is not a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau.

Zion National Park

Time to share with Fon more of the beautiful state of Utah. Zion National Park is huge - a hiker's paradise. Unfortunately due to time restraints, as well as summer crowds, we opt for a scenic drive.

 Picnic lunch at our campground.

The Huber Grove Creamery

Sharril and Fon reading the life story of Johannes Huber, a Swiss emigrant, and his wife, Maria, who planted 350 fruit trees, turning his farm into a productive orchard. There are about 80 trees left around the original farmhouse and creamery, and several tiny trees grafted from branches of the original trees.
