Canyonlands National Park preserves 337,598 acres of canyons, mesas, buttes, fins, arches, and spires. It is divided into four districts  and Island In the Sky is our pick for today.

Upper Colorado River Scenic Byway

A scenic drive on Highway 128 along the Colorado River.

We decide to take a dirt road called Onion Creek Road,

Arches National Park

We have visited Arches National Park multiple times over the years. Again, we find ourselves in the beautiful state of Utah and decide to visit "just one more time".

An early morning start
for what is certain to be a warm day.

As the sun rises, the red rocks turn golden.
