San Angelo,Texas

Soft Shell Turtle spotted at the Living Desert Museum in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

We were only able to view a few lilies at the International Water Lily Display (San Angelo, Texas) as it was a bit early in the season. It would be worth returning to see this display if we should pass through San Angelo later in the summer.

A Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (my new favorite bird) and Mockingbird, taken through the RV windows.

Mexican Ground Squirrel

Fiberglass figures of sheep are displayed throughout the town of San Angelo, commemorating it's historical importance as a wool marketing center. The production of sheep continues to diminish due to terrible drought conditions in West Texas.
