Texas Hill Country

Campsite view at Inks Lake State Park, Burnet TX

Blue Winged Teal

Fun stay at Inks Lake - hiking, day trips and taking the kayak out on the lake.

Beautiful day to hike Enchanted Rock on our way to Fredericksburg for some German cuisine and a visit to the Wildseed Farms.

Just the beginning of fields of Indian paintbrush and Texas bluebonnets.

Camped at Lake Somerville just outside Brenham to tour the Blue Bell Creamery and sample our favorite ice cream.

Yes, Jeannie, there was a strong iron fence between us and these beautiful Texas long horns. You and Jim both share the same birth year - as found on Texas Farm Road 1948.

Jester  taking in the beautiful wildflowers. He is just the best behaved and most enthusiastic travel companion we could have.
